The UW-River Falls Falcon Women’s Basketball team receiving votes in the WBCA and D3Hoops top 25 preseason polls.  Five seniors will lead the 2011-12 team, high expectations are abound for this experienced group.  With an extremely tough schedule including ten games against other teams listed in the preseason polls, the team will be tested early and often.

D3Hoops Preseason Poll

Four players scored in double figures for a balanced attack to lead the Falcons over the Blugolds.  Alise Holst lead the scoring with 18 points, followed by Guhr with 15, House with 13, and Brittany Gregorich with 11.  Brittany Gegorich also had 6 boards, leading the Falcons in that category.
