The Falcon Women’s coaching staff and team is excited to host the UWRF Falcon Women’s Basketball Buddies. It’s for girls in ages 5-14 that want to have some fun meeting our team and playing basketball on Monday nights from September 26-October 17. It’s a great opportunity to prepare for your season and to create memorable connections between our UWRF team and the surrounding area youth basketball players.
Want to have a fun while learning more about Falcon Women’s Basketball? Then come join the UWRF Women’s Basketball team as they present Falcon Basketball Buddies. Each week you will have the opportunity to interact with the 2011-12 UWRF Women’s Basketball team while participating in drills, games, fun activities, and more.

Who: Girls, Ages 5-14
Where: UWRF Karges Gym
When: Mondays, 6:00-7:15 P.M.
Dates: September 26 – October 17

Registration fee includes:
Basketball instruction, Falcon t-shirt, 2 women’s basketball game tickets and ball-girl sign-up for Falcon women’s basketball home game.

The Falcon basketball camp wrapped up today. The players improved each day and were ready for rest when the camp ended.

On Wednesday night February 2 , UWRF Falcon women’s basketball team plays host to UW Eau Claire at 7:00 pm at the Karges Center. This is YOUTH and HIGH SCHOOL Night, all Coaches and their significant other and players are invited to attend for FREE. We will announce your team during the game, so be ready to cheer for your team and ours.
If you are a not on a team as a Youth you can still get in free and your parents get in for $4 each.
If you would like free tickets just email Coach Holbrook at cindy.holbrook@uwrf.edu so she can reserve them for you. Let Coach Holbrook know who the contact is and what team you represent and how many FREE tickets you would like. We will have them at the ticket counter for you that night. The parents of the players and family members can get in for $4 each. Parents just mention which Basketball program you are with.

The Falcon Womens Basketball team is hosting a basketball camp for future girl basketball players. They call it the “Falcon Buddy Camp”. About 50 Buddies attended camp this year on Monday nights for four weeks.
“We give these young players some of the basic skills needed to become a good fundamental basketball player” Coach Holbrook said. ” The Buddies give much back to us. Our Falcon players get great enjoyment working with these young players. What is really special is when we see these players at our games working as game day ball girls or just cheering on our team.”
