         Friends, family, Brittany, jokes, funny movies

9­Advice I’d give a young athlete:  

         If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again because failing will only make you stronger in the end. And never give up on yourself or your team.

10­In my free time I like to: 

         Run, Rollerblade, Hang out with friends

11­Pre­game Superstition:  

         I always had to have my hair straightened that day, and I had to put my uniform, shoes and ankle brace on the same way.

 

12­One word that best describes me: 

         Determined

         Run

14­If I weren’t playing basketball I would be: 

         Probably studying all the time with no social life!

15­The best thing about attending UWRF (school or/and city) is:

         The campus closeness and the friends I’ve made

         An Actress

17­If you could be on the cover of a magazine, it would be? Why?

         ESPN because the only reason I would be on there is because of my mad dunking skills!

18­My greatest sports moment was: 

         When we beat Hurley, who was ranked #5 in Division three, my Sophomore year and I had 17 points.

19­What would you like to learn and achieve this sports season? 

         I would like to learn how to become a more effective offensive player.

         Someone who pushes me to do my best and never gives up

21-My secret addiction is…

         My Blackberry

22­What is one word you hope to use to describe yourself in ten 

         years? 

         Successful

         Pray

25­ What is your biggest pet peeve? 

         Liars

         Deanna Favre, because she is Brett Favre’s wife who I’ve had a crush on since kindergarten.

         Travel to the moon

29-Why did you decide to come to UWRF?

         The basketball program and the campus

 

30-What’s the best thing about UWRF in your experience so far?

         Friends and being on my own

         Water skiing, tubing, rollerblading, hiking, watching football and hockey games

 

32- The reason I picked my jersey number is that…

            I wanted number 32 when I started varsity my Freshman year, but a senior had it, so I chose #42 and I loved it ever since

            Ben and Jerry’s Berry Voluntary

 

 

 

34-Most exciting thing you did this summer…

            Went back to my home state, Georgia, and went to our favorite vacation spot, St. Simons Island, Georgia.

            Becoming a better athlete and basketball player

            Meeting new people and discovering what I’m interested in.

“The best things in life are unseen…that’s why we close our eyes when we

7­What is your favorite spot on campus?:

Knowles Center or the pathway to Knowles, it’s really peaceful and pretty.

8­What makes you laugh?

My friends

9­Advice I’d give a young athlete:

Work

10­In my free time I like to:

I like being outside or hanging with friends

11­Pre­game Superstition:

Always have to listen to my ipod and be by myself for a bit before the game.

12­One word that best describes me:

Entertaining

13­Nobody knows how much I love to:

Draw

14­If I weren’t playing basketball I would be:

Hanging out with my friends or since I’m in college probably studying.

15­The best thing about attending UWRF (school or/and city) is:

UWRF is small enough to where it doesn’t take 30 minutes to walk across

campus and big enough to make you feel like you’re at college. Also River

Falls city is small so it’s easy to get places walking or biking.

16­My dream job would be:

A famous painter where I make my own art work up and people want to buy it

for a lot of money.

17­If you could be on the cover of a magazine, it would be? Why?

Cosmo because it means I must have done something right to get rich to be

on the cover.

18­My greatest sports moment was:

This past basketball season (2010) when my high school team won regional

finals because the year before that we didn’t make it any further.

19­What would you like to learn and achieve this sports season?

I would really like to learn how to be faster on my feet on defense and

become very successful at it.

20­Describe an ideal teammate:

The ideal teammate to me would be the kind of person that is a teammate on

the court that does anything and everything she can to help her team and

is a good friend off the court.

21-My secret addiction is…

Music

22­What is one word you hope to use to describe yourself in ten

     years?

  Successful

23­What’s one television show that you can’t miss each week?

I don’t watch television much but I had to chose it would be Penguins of

Madagascar.

 24-Before each game, I…

Listen to my ipod get pumped up in my own way

25­ What is your biggest pet peeve?

When you’re hanging out with a friend and they can’t put their phone down

for a day or for that time being that you’re hanging out together.

26­ If you could trade places with anyone, who would it be? Why?

 Amanda Bynes because she has the funniest personality ever and seems like

she would always have a good time and is rich so I wouldn’t have to worry

about money for once.

27­ If you could do anything just once, what would it be?

  Fly without being in an airplane or anything to help me, so “fly like an

eagle”

     would star in it?

The Basketball team is awesome and here at UWRF I’m meeting so many new

I like to draw, bike, ride horse, kayak, swim, play basketball, volleyball,

32- The reason I picked my jersey number is that…

I was given the number 30 from my high school basketball coach and since

then never changed it.

Superman!

34-Most exciting thing you did this summer…

Played in the All Star Game in June.

35-What do you look forward to most this season…

I am going to be in the best shape of my life and can’t wait to feel good

on the basketball court.

36-What are you looking forward to most this school year…

Being part of the basketball team and getting to know everyone more than I

already do.

Volleyball, Basketball, Softball 1 year and then Track and Field 3 years

My ninth grade basketball team won the state tournament undefeated.

I would like to learn how to be more fundamentally sound and I want us to

go all the way this season.

 20Describe an ideal teammate:

Someone that’s approachable when you need help, but then also someone that

will say it to your face when you’re doing something wrong.

  Successful.

I don’t really watch any T.V. shows  regularilly

Get myself pumped up and in the zone by listening to my ipod.

25What is your biggest pet peeve? When people don’t wear pants that are long enough for them (looks like

they’re ready for a flash flood)

26 If you could trade places with anyone, who would it be? Why?

I would trade places with Taylor Swift, cause she’s just amazing.

27 If you could do anything just once, what would it be?

Travel around the world

  Umm.. well I would star in it, cuase it’s about me. Ha and then it would

be called,

29Why did you decide to come to UWRF?

Because it has a really great education program and of course the

basketball team ha

All the great new friends that I’ve made so far.

It was actually was just randomly given to me in Highschool, I found out

later that Larry Bird and Magic Johnson both had that number

34Most exciting thing you did this summer…

I went to visit my uncles in California for a week and they took us to a

Broadway play, the ocean, Universal Studios. It’s their graduation present

to all of their nieces and nephews.

35What do you look forward to most this season…

Just Playing the game.

7­What is your favorite spot on campus?: The University Center

8­What makes you laugh? When people make fools of themselves.

9­Advice I’d give a young athlete:  Have a good work ethic and always do your best.

10­In my free time I like to:  Draw, do anything active outside, go fishing 

11­Pre­game Superstition:  wearing the same sports bra for every game, washed of course.

12­One word that best describes me: Versatile

 13­Nobody knows how much I love to:  Go fishing!

14­If I weren’t playing basketball I would be: Running track and field

15­The best thing about attending UWRF (school or/and city) is: the campus

16­My dream job would be: researching and finding medical breakthroughs.

17­If you could be on the cover of a magazine, it would be? Why? Fitness because I really like that magazine and it would mean that I am a good role model and motivator for others.

18­My greatest sports moment was: My junior year of high school when I got fifth place pole vaulting at state and got on the podium.  It was also a huge accomplishment that my track team placed third at state with four people.

19­What would you like to learn and achieve this sports season?  I would like to learn to play with people other than the ones I have been playing with all my life thus far. I hope to make new friendships and work my hardest to become the best player I can be. 

20­Describe an ideal teammate:  Someone who is willing to push my limits, respects who I am, and admires the effort I put forth on the court.

21-My secret addiction is…pickles…I love them!

22­What is one word you hope to use to describe yourself in ten  years?   Successful

23­What’s one television show that you can’t miss each week? I don’t normally watch much t.v. but I do like the show Jeopardy.

 24-Before each game, I…try and have some quiet time by myself to prepare mentally for what I need to accomplish in the game.

 25­ What is your biggest pet peeve?  When people do not pass the basketball and try to make a one man team.

 26­ If you could trade places with anyone, who would it be? Why?  Alexander Fleming who is the founder of penicillin. It would be awesome to be credited with finding a drug that has helped and saved the lives of so many people.

27­ If you could do anything just once, what would it be?  Skydive

28­If we made a movie of your life what would it be called and who  would star in it?  It would be called “The Life Story of a Small Town Girl with Big Dreams” and I would be the main star, obviously. Otherwise my family, the McConnell family, and my friends would be in it. 

29-Why did you decide to come to UWRF? To get a good education and of course to play basketball.

30-What’s the best thing about UWRF in your experience so far? Meeting a lot of really fun and different people.

31-Hobbies…sports, spending time with my family and close friends, drawing, any outdoors activity, and fishing.

32- The reason I picked my jersey number is that… I like the number and it is close to my high school number which was 22.

 33-Favorite ice cream…mint chocolate chip

34-Most exciting thing you did this summer…went camping for a week with a family that I am really close with.

35-What do you look forward to most this season…the challenge of playing at the collegiate level and also playing with more experienced players.

36-What are you looking forward to most this school year…meeting new people and teachers and making bonds with them.
