The Falcons advance to 8-0, the best start any women’s basketball team at UWRF, after beating UW-Oshkosh, 57-56 on Saturday night at the Kolf Sports Center in Oshkosh.

The Titans made a run, tying the game at 20 with 2:06 remaining, but a Tiffany Gregorich three-pointer and a jump shot by Hilt followed by a 1-2 free throw appearance by Tiffany Greorich gave the Falcons their half-time lead.

The Falcons never trailed in the second half, and they were up by as much as 15 with 5:18 to play. Three UWRF fouls in two minutes helped the Titans crawl back into the game. Free throws by Laura Ebbens, Melissa Franken and Heidi Barneveld helped UWO out in the long run.
