Falcon players practice with River Falls 7th grade team

On Monday November 30 four UWRF falcon women players ran a practice for the River Falls 7th grade girls basketball team. Lauren Pellowski, Tracie Gillund, Lindsey Olson and Tiffany Gregorich ran the practice.
“It was fun to do, I remember when I was young the Blugold players from Eau Claire would come to our practice.” said Tiffany Gegorich from Altoona. ” The players were fun to be with, they wanted to learn and work hard so that made it fun.”
The Falcon womens basketball team has a standing offer for all area youth teams within a reasonable distance from River Falls.
Coach Holbrook said “Our players are available to assist you at one of your practices. We think this is a great way to make a connection between our players and yours. We would like to have about 30 to 60 minutes of your player’s time to work on basketball drills and fundamentals. We will have some special things to offer your players too. “
