Maranda Dohrn player of the week

Forward Maranda Dohrn (Fr., Lake City, Minn.) had three strong games for the Falcons last week. She scored a career-high 17 points in the team’s 73-55 win over Martin Luther. She also led the team in scoring in a 75-49 loss to UW-Stevens Point, and she led the team with nine rebounds in a 61-43 loss at UW-Platteville. For the week, Dohrn, 6-0, shot 12-20 (.600) from the field and 10-12 (.833) from the line for 34 points. She had 22 rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals. This year Dohrn is averaging 6.5 points and a team-best 7.8 rebounds a game. She has 14 assists, seven assists and eight steals. Dohrn has played in all 19 games off the bench.
